RECENT FAM TRIP TO ORLANDO:

I'm just back from 5 nights in Florida courtesy of Bookabed British Airways & America Airlines. I travelled business class from Dublin to London and onwards to Orlando which in total took 11 hours. This was an amazing experience plus having the use of the business class lounges in both Dublin & London was so enjoyable.
We stayed 3 nights in the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando. A lovely 4 star Hotel with direct access to the Universal Parks via water taxi. While staying at the Loews Portofino Bay you have the express pass for all the rides so this was a great advantage not having to queue for too long. We visited Universal Orlando Resort, Islands of Adventure and City Walk & the brand new Volcano Bay water park and experienced some trilling new water slides on our final day in Orlando we got to visit all the Universal on site hotels. We also got to visit the outlet shopping centre and picked up some amazing bargains.
After our busy 3 days in #Orlando we headed west to #Tampa and stayed 2 nights in the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina located right on the waterfront in downtown Tampa. Another beautiful 4 star Hotel I would recommend staying in while visiting Tampa. Our busy schedule took us to an aquarium, pro-golf, a zoo plus some lovely eateries all handpicked by our guide Abbey. Tampa is a great city to explore pre/post cruise and I would have no hesitation in returning. We flew home from Tampa with American Airlines via Philadelphia which again was a fantastic experience flying business class. If you have any queries on Florida.
